10 classic dream analysis
How much do dreams relate to the real world? NERYSDEE, a famous American stress control expert, analyzed 10,000 dreams sampled in the survey, and revealed the correlation between dreams and reality and the meaning of dreams through the analysis of several of our common dreams. You reveal the connection between dreams and reality and the meaning of dreams.
Dream 1: Falling, falling, falling... We often begin to dream of falling, falling through space, falling through a time tunnel, as soon as we fall into sleep. Experts believe that this is the sensation of moving from wakefulness to sleep, so it's not really a dream, it's just a physical reaction of our body, and it's just our sleep-going brain interpreting it as a dream. As we begin to fall asleep, we begin to enter REM, the stage of rapid eye movement. The limbs of our bodies begin to experience sharp, short twitches. The scientific explanation: muscular spasm. This phenomenon can also be seen in real life, when we walk off the edge of a cliff. Our unconscious mind interprets this physical response of the body as a dream when we are not awake. It is understandable that such dreams tell us that we are afraid of the difficult situation we are about to face or have to face. In fact, you have no need to fear that you have fallen to the bottom in your dream, and there is a possibility of death in real life, because so far, there has been no such case.
Dream 2: Being chased When you dream that you are being chased but you cannot move, this kind of dream is actually another natural reaction of the brain fantasy, such dreams usually occur during the REM sleep stage. At this point, your body is actually paralyzed, and our subconscious translates this paralysis into a feeling of helplessness, as if you can't escape capture. Sometimes, the person chasing you can be interpreted as your hostility toward others or their hostility toward you; Once you can identify where the hostility is coming from, you won't be haunted by such nightmares at night.
Dream # 3: Flying through the Sky This is one of the most common dreams that people experience: seven out of ten people will experience this dream flying during their lifetime. Dee herself had this dream at least 10 times when she was young, and every time she woke up, she felt very happy. One explanation is that the soul leaves the dreamer's body at that time, so that when you wake up, it feels like reality. Another, more scientific explanation is that flying dreams reflect what Darwin once referred to as 'genetic memory' because he believed our ancestors were birds. But it is certain that people who have such dreams will not feel depressed. Dee explains that such dreams express the dreamer's hope and ability to solve their own problems.
If you dream that your teeth are falling out, this is actually a very good indication that your life will take a big turn. Why does such a dream mean change? In fact, it is very simple, tooth loss represents the loss of human milk teeth, and in real life, it is reflected in the transition from childhood to adult age. So, this dream conveys a message of growth and maturity, and it also means that you will have to take on more responsibilities.
Dream # 5: Being cheated on by your lover or cheating on your lover If you are married or have a regular friend of the opposite sex, but in your dream you are having sex with another man, or consciously cheating on your husband or boyfriend in your dream. Then this means that you have signs of cheating on your lover or will soon make the dream act. Interestingly, if your boyfriend tells you similar dreams, it could mean that his feelings for you are fake, and he may already be confused or suspicious about your relationship.
Dream # 6: Make love, make love, make love endlessly... These dreams are usually experienced by men who have reached puberty, and may return into their 50s and 60s. The good signs are: if your dream sex is pleasurable, it means that you are now having a very good progress with your partner; If you are watching someone else do it, it is a sign that you are happy with your current partner, but there is something you can't do about your relationship. The most interesting thing is that if you dream of incest in a dream, it indicates that you will soon be down from your current position and suffer a greater financial loss. When you dream of an accident, such as a car accident, train derailment, plane crash or capsizing, you should be careful: this indicates that something bad is going to happen. This dream sometimes represents real life, and you need to be extra careful when traveling, driving or boating. If you dream that an unfortunate accident happens to someone you know, it shows that you do not like that person; On the contrary, if you dream that the person is dead, it indicates that the person will have good luck.
This dream usually occurs within a year or two of a major change in your life. Subconsciously, you long to return to old friends or places you used to know, but you also know that this is not possible. There are also such examples: you may dream that you were very good friends in your childhood, which means that you want to forget the unpleasant things in your current life, and you want to seek a simple and loyal friend as in your youth.
Dream # 9: Water, water, water everywhere... Whether you dream of a quiet lake, a flowing stream, a raging river, or a calm ocean; The water in the dream always symbolizes the essence of life, representing the baptism and rebirth of the spirit. Once your life becomes complicated, you may dream that you are drowning. The lake symbolizes that you want to break free from the chaos of life as soon as possible and desire to live a peaceful and stable life. A flood or raging river is a metaphor for stress and situations that are out of your control.
Suddenly, in your dream, you dreamed that thousands of snakes were surrounding you, but you did not feel afraid at all. On the contrary, you showed calm, confidence, and good control of the situation. Whereas the Freudians understood the snake as a worship of genitals, NERYSDEE preferred to see it as a manifestation of one's energy, sexuality, and strong mental state.
When you have a snake in your dream that attacks you, it is a warning that someone around you is deceiving you, or that someone is cunning, dishonest, and jealous of you. However, if it is a large and slow snake, it represents wisdom and knowledge.
